About the Event

This webinar is hosted by TEA (Transforming Education Australasia), an umbrella group of learner-centred educational organisations working in Australian schools. Members include Montessori Australia, Steiner Education Australia, Australasian Democratic Education Community, Niche schools within state schools, homeschooling networks and more. (More info on TEA at www.tea.org.au)

We are hosting a series of five FREE webinars this year designed to help teachers and parents understand more and ask questions about our various sectors.

Our latest webinar on Wednesday July 3rd at 7pm  is about "How mainstream teachers and parents can make changes within a system or niche."

It is particularly pertinent to beginning teachers, who may be keen to hear about some of the successful, quick strategies they can employ in their classrooms to have big results.

We will have 4 presenters, one each from Steiner, Montessori, ADEC and niche schools talking for 5 minutes about 1 high impact strategy - access to resources, use of storytelling, class meetings and parallel curriculum - with time for questions on how to engage with these strategies.

Please share widely with your networks, especially teachers working in all systems and spaces who might be keen to hear more about different strategies.
